Great White Paint

Benjamin Moore Color of The Year
Thursday, October 29, 2015

No doubt about it.  White is one of the hardest colors to choose.

That's because white is highly reflective and what surrounds it can impact how it looks.  So can the time of day, the time of year, and the lighting.

And then there's this:  white isn't a single color but a range of shades with a variety of undertones.  Benjamin Moore has 157 shades of white!

So how do you find a "neutral" white, one that has a nice balance of warm and cool tones without being slightly pinkish, yellowish, bluish, or greenish?

For several years, our favorite - along with many designers - has been Benjamin Moore's Simply White OC-117 - the very color that Benjamin Moore named color of the year when it recently announced color trends for 2016!  Even Architectural Digest took notice!

So unless you're specifically matching to another shade of white, Simply White is simply beautiful.  On trim. On ceilings. On walls.

And if you're looking for Benjamin Moore paint here in Ann Arbor, you can find it at Anderson Paint, our very favorite paint store where helpful, knowledgeable people will be happy to help you find just the right paint for your job.
